About Maple Leaf LPG

Maple Leaf LPG is the automotive autogas conversion and service business of Maple Leaf Industrial Solutions Ltd. (MLIS).

Our Tejgaon workshop provides LPG conversion, inspection, service, and after-sales support for individual, corporate, and fleet customers.

We are looking for an experienced automotive professional to take ownership of the workshop's sales performance, customer experience, team accountability, and day-to-day commercial operations.

Role Overview

The Workshop Manager, Sales & Operations will be responsible for growing sales while ensuring that customers, sales staff, and the technical workshop team work together effectively.

This is a hands-on management role. The successful candidate does not need to be an automotive technician, but must understand how an automotive showroom, service center, or workshop operates and be able to manage its commercial performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the sales team and take responsibility for monthly sales and conversion targets

  • Manage leads, customer follow-ups, quotations, bookings, and lost-lead analysis

  • Develop corporate and fleet business opportunities

  • Improve lead conversion and ensure disciplined follow-up

  • Maintain strong customer service before, during, and after conversion

  • Coordinate closely with the technical team on workshop capacity, scheduling, and customer commitments

  • Monitor staff performance and hold team members accountable for assigned targets and follow-ups

  • Ensure accurate and timely CRM, Trello, and management reporting

  • Maintain pricing discipline and support commercially sound sales decisions

  • Resolve customer and operational issues promptly

  • Identify ways to improve sales performance, workshop efficiency, and customer experience

  • Provide regular performance updates to management

What You'll Need

Applicants should have:

  • At least 3 years of directly relevant experience in an automotive dealership, vehicle showroom, authorized service center, automotive workshop, or automotive after-sales operation

  • Demonstrated responsibility for monthly sales targets, customer acquisition, and sales performance

  • Experience directly supervising or managing a sales, showroom, service, or workshop team

  • Strong customer-handling and problem-solving ability

  • Good organizational, follow-up, and reporting discipline

  • Ability to work effectively with both sales and technical personnel

  • Comfort using spreadsheets, CRM systems, and other digital business tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Automotive dealership or authorized service-center experience

  • Showroom, branch, workshop, or after-sales management experience

  • Corporate or fleet automotive sales experience

  • Demonstrated and measurable sales achievements

  • Experience managing salespeople against monthly targets

  • Responsibility for commercial performance of a branch, showroom, or service operation

Previous LPG or autogas experience is not required.
