Role Overview
We’re hiring a hands-on Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a technical team, and ensure excellent customer service. You don’t need to be a technician, but you must know how to manage one.
What You’ll Do
Run the LPG conversion workshop efficiently day-to-day
Supervise technicians, assign tasks, and monitor attendance
Ensure timely delivery of all vehicle jobs with quality checks
Handle customer interactions—before, during, and after service
Resolve any service issues or complaints quickly
Keep accurate records: job cards, parts usage, vehicle tracking
Manage workshop petty cash and daily expenses
Coordinate with the accounts team for invoicing and receivables
Submit weekly/monthly reports on job performance and revenue
Drive productivity, suggest improvements, and meet monthly targets
Track and assist with regulatory renewals (Explosives, Fire, Labour, Trade licenses)
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or an Automotive-related field
3–5 years’ experience managing operations in a service/workshop setting
Strong team leadership, planning, and communication skills
Familiarity with workshop processes and customer service
Basic understanding of LPG conversion processes (training provided)
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive services or technical service centers
Familiarity with inventory or workshop management software
Familiarity with government regulations related to workshop licensing (Explosives, Fire, Labour, Trade)
Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage under pressure
